The 700-hour program includes Swedish massage, specialized massage techniques, and other subjects related to the healing arts. In addition, students receive instruction in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, and Zoologik™ Anatomy in Clay lab. The curriculum includes an emphasis on self-awareness and personal growth as an integral part of becoming a caring professional. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.
· Course of study is completed in approximately 8 months
· Students attend Mondays and Tuesdays 8:00am - 5:30pm and on Wednesdays from 8:00am-Noon *
· Students must complete 50 hours (second semester) at an approved internship site
· Credits and hours are non-transferable into this clock hour program *
· Student/teacher ratio: 4:1
* If class size is 9 or more; student clinic (second semester) will be divided up into Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon clinic
* A clock hour is based on an actual hour of attendance, though each hour may include a 10-minute break.
