To apply to SDSMT an applicant must have a high school diploma or legal equivalent. Applicants must be in good health and be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of fully performing massage therapy. SDSMT will attempt to reasonably accommodate any individual with documented disabilities with advanced notice provided to the school Admissions Director. Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply to the school. The standard enrollment process is applied in all situations.

During the admissions process, tours of the facility are encouraged but not required.
